Hello my name is Tom! After finishing my formal education in 2022, I chose to study Philosophy at the University of Manchester, graduating with First-Class Honours. Along the way, I received offers from LSE, Bristol, Durham, and Edinburgh, however, stayed stead-fast with my decision. Indeed, Manchester’s reputation for analytical philosophy was ultimately too compelling to turn down. My work now sits at the intersection between philosophy and finance. I research and write on topics including Philosophy of Religion, Ethics, Financial Analysis and Market Research, drawing on experience gained at KPMG and BDO, as well as super days with J.P. Morgan, Marsh, and NatWest Group. I also stay closely connected with fellows at Oxford University, which has been especially helpful when navigating the most recent literature.
